This pair of chairs was built entirely by hand from solid ash and honey locust, using traditional techniques that have influenced windsor chairs for centuries. The legs are tapered and octagonal, a geometry that catches light differently than a turned leg and creates a presence without demanding attention.
These are working chairs, built to be sat in, moved around, and lived with. The ash brings resilience; the honey locust brings warmth. Together, they are built to last through all of it — the weeknight dinners, the holidays, the birthdays. A chair is a quiet thing, but the right one supports a lifetime of moments.
